SPACE SHUTTLE ATTACKED BY ALIENS - DEBUNKED BY THE GUY WHO MADE IT!
I have to very different opinions about this.
First, I recogonize the craftsmanship and skill that went into creating this video. It was created in 2009 using:
  • Photoshop CS2
  • After Effects 7.0
  • Premier Pro 2.0
The Faking Hoaxer is from the UK but no one seems to know his name. However, there is a great interview with him on the oddbill.com website.

The second opinion I have about this, is not about the creator. It's about the morons that use this video to suggest (even if that suggestion is merely a question) that the Columbia STS-107 was shot down by ANYONE (human or alien). This is immature view whoring by people benefiting from the tragic deaths of Rick Husband, William McCool, David Brown, Kalpana Chawla, Michael Anderson, Laurel Clark, and Ilan Ramon. 

You can find many channels on YouTube showing this video as though it's real.

Aside from the easily found creator's original video (where he claims ownership and that it's fake), there are some other things to pay attention to. In a lot of these videos someone has added an audio track. Some of the highlights taken from an article posted on the Lucky Puppy are (starting at 09:25 in DarkSkyWatcher74's video):

Gemini VII: “Gemini Seven Gemini Seven How do you read?”
Houston: “Loud and clear. Seven. Go ahead.”
Gemini VII: “I have a bogey at 10 o’clock high. “
Houston: “This is Houston. Say again, VII. “
Gemini VII: “Said we have a bogey at 10 o’clock high. ”
STS 73 Catherine Coleman:“We have an unidentified flying object.”
 Apollo 12 Pete Conrad: “It seems to be tagging along with us.”

Seriously! Just turn the volume up and listen for yourself. I mean, really, Gemini 7? Did the person who turned this into something disgusting really think that was going to slip by the viewers?

At 09:45 in Paul Flores' (DarkSkyWatcher74) video offering, you hear a female astronaut saying "We have an unidentified flying object." That is the voice of Catherine Coleman and was recorded during STS-73. You can see a video from the show UFO Hunters on this very transmission. Listen to the two of them, it's her.


The bottom line about this hoax, is that the creator isn't the hoaxer. He's just a guy who likes making CGI vids ... lots of them. Check out the YouTube channel (link on left) for TFH.

As for people like Paul Flores, AKA DarkSkyWatcher74, I would never say anything libelous about someone. However, Googling him makes for some interesting reading.
